Food Network Reality

I watch alot of food network tv. I love to eat and when I have the time I love to cook.
I found this little tad bit interesting when watching a DVR episode of Iron Chef America…….
We all know they know ahead of time what possible secret ingredients they may have coming and have time to prepare dishes for each possibility. But it seems they have lists of ingredients at the very least. I’m not sure if they are that good at hiding it normally or I just never noticed before……
Have you caught anything like this on reality tv that shows how it’s not all straight reality?
Random Stuff

So if your missing my Idol Blogs I appologize. I’m getting bored with the show. I’m not excited. I DVR most episodes and sometimes watch that night, sometimes not. Tonights episode so far is 13 minutes over it’s 2 hour time slot. DVR cut it off already and I’m waiting to find out who gets voted off. I hope to see Crystal and Lee in the top 2.
My cat seems to not like my dog. What would make me think that? Well besides chasing the dog he gets on top of her and bites her back. Ugh I hate cats seriosly. For one I’m allergic, and secondly they are just vile creatures who think they own your house. Counter top? Of coarse I’m allowed on it. Every now and then they are cute.
Like when they lay next to the dog instead of biting her.
Oh did I mention technically the kitten is bigger than my full grown dog. Then next thing you know he is bathing my dog.
I couldn’t figure out if my dog actually liked it or was afraid he would claw her eyes out.
And then you have days where he does a non cat like thing and bathes himself in the laundry tub. No, he wasn’t only drinking it he came out soaked lol
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out if I should keep my Twitter account. Do people really care what I have to say in so few words? I don’t know over half the people I follow personally many are stars. They sure the he’ll don’t follow my tweets. Why should I care what they have to say if they don’t care about little ole me? I logged into Twitter tonight and got a message I never saw before…
Hahahahaha
Btw I’m sick to fucking death of hearing about Big Ben, of what fans think about him, and the Steelers in general. Its on my tv, radio, twitter, facebook, news sites, etc. Sick of it. Who the hell cares what he did. Pay attention to your own damn girlfriends/spouses/etc. The Pens are in the playoffs dammit!!!
Idol went over 24 minutes if you care or missed it. I’m sorry but every other looser got to sing a closing song when they got booted. Booo Idol for taking up so much time you couldn’t include that!

Work Randomness

Ok it’s been about a week since I blogged I believe and I didn’t do a weekly Idol blog, my bad. I DVR’d Idol as we had too much going on and low and behold the Facebook Page for Idol told me this morning they saved Micheal. Damn you Facebook Fan page and damn you saves for messing with Americas choice. Anywho…..

Funny thing happened two days ago on the way home from work. My co-worker ride and I were just beboppin along to some tune in the car when I see a man going up Josephine St. on a bike. It’s a hill and it was pretty hot out. So beboppin me yells out “Crack is bad for you!” as we pass him. I’m sure you’ve guessed dude had a nice length of crack showin which I’m sorry is defenitly not sexy. We had a good laugh about it, all the way up Josephine.

Since I’m talking about work let’s keep the pattern going. Even though I’m worried about getting laid off I’ll keep this one friendly for once.

Everyday I go to CVS across the way and get my usual pepsi and smokes. Sometimes I find good stuff on clearance. Almost everyday I am greeted by the same employee. He comments on my beautiful smile. He is nice though we got off on the wrong foot as my first experience with him he carded me for smokes. Of coarse I left my ID at work and was too busy to go back so I wasn’t friendly in return. Ok I was a bitch. After that day I didn’t see him again for weeks so I thought hmmm maybe I made him quit, maybe he transferred. Nope he came out of hiding and has been super nice guy everyday. I smile back and thank him but I have to admit he kinda creeps me out. I think he likes me.

Doing the mail the other day I see this check….
Really? So you regularly pay bills and not know what your paying? Man I wish I had that kind of money! For as many people who don’t pay we have a few who double pay bills all the time. Seriosly can you just start making checks out to me since your accounting department doesn’t pay attention?

This was a lovely find when Borders at Centry III was going out of business. I still have to sticker up the rest of my office. Maybe if I make it a happy place I’ll enjoy work more..
